I just started playing my first chess 960 game and I love it. I have now started using it with my students because it forces you to play tactically. Tactics are one of the primary reasons I became interested in chess 960. Too often, tactical positions that are used for teaching purposes are set up and are difficult to achieve in games. By this, I mean that the hard part is setting up a good tactical play as opposed to working a tactical puzzle where the setup has been done for you. Chess 960 is something everyone should try at least once! Thanks for the posting.
