I will no longer be posting pictures in the updates... I would probably post the occasional picture so spectators could get a visual 
but for the most part just the game file. If you are unable to view the board you could always ask somebody else to take a picture of your area for you.

It doesn't work for me, I have windows 10, it doesn't make the necessary folders for me to put the pics in, could you post a video tutorial?

I forgot to mention that you do need Java installed, do you have that?
If typing "java" in a command prompt confuses your system, you don't have it installed.

I do have java, but when I open it I get the message 
Can you click "Extract" right below the pink box. Extract the folder somewhere like the desktop or something. Once your sure it's been extracted, try running it again.
If the same message no longer pops up. It may have gotten a step further. Do the required directories exist?

@balashukla0761 I googled your issue. That error comes up because by default windows extracted into the temp folder, and there are permission issues with the temp folder. Just right-click the .zip file and select "Extract All" then choose where you want the folder to go.

No...
Ok Tomato, I think it's opening for you and then crashing. I need to see the error. Can you run the .jar file using a command prompt?
Open a command prompt, type (without the quotations "", and don't forget the space after "jar"):
"java -jar "
then drag the .jar file "Infinite Chess 1.0.6 wind.jar" into the command prompt window, click on the command prompt window, and hit enter! It should open and disappear again, but any console messages + errors should appear in the command prompt window!

This thread is meant to help people download and get started with my Chess on an Infinite Plane program! This thread is also to help me debug the program so it works as intended for everyone! And also, people can request features and stuff. This program is actually very versatile! Although it's works best with modding (i.e. moderating) Infinite Chess games, you can even mod other games too like bulldog, or really whatever kind of funky-shaped game you like!
I own this program, created entirely from scratch in the Java programming language, I am just offering a copy of it *free of charge* for anyone who would like it! I use this program to mod all my infinite games (and also sometimes bulldog games!), and also this huge sandbox game! Here's what you need-
A computer capable of running java applications, can be windows or mac.
You need Java installed. If you don't, here's a good tutorial on how to install Java JDK on windows 10.
download the required "Photos" folder from google drive (link deleted).
download the program itself "Infinite Chess GUI v1.0.8.2" from google drive (link deleted) (includes both windows and mac version).
Right-click the zip folder "Infinite Chess GUI v1.0.8.2", click Extract All and extract to somewhere easily accessible like the desktop or somewhere... then read the "Read Me" file, it will tell you where to put the "Photos" folder after you've extracted that as well.
Did you know you can have a custom theme by choosing custom photos to replace the one's in the "Photos" folder? The requirements are:
It is also possible to change what the board looks like and its color by replacing the image named "checkerboard2". I have created a folder called "Board Themes" of a few different board colors to choose from (The default is Grey).
