Your rating changes more when you are a new player and your rating change less when you have played a lot of games. The rating system used is glicko which you can read more about here: https://www.chess.com/article/view/chess-ratings---how-they-work
Less rating points in 4 player teams

Sometimes when i'm playing team 4 player and my teammate loses, i find more rating points lost than they do. Is it because i did not help them or something?
