Here are suggested other pairings. The game with HorribleTomato and me has a new piece - the hunter. Any one else in? Also let me know if any requested changes. Games will start in staggered fashion - about 4-5 days between each game for example.

Yes, round-1 games can be new game inventions. But they should match the bulldog theme - basically a 10x8 board, and one or two new pieces. There's a few other games not played very often. There's bulldog legacy. I like this one because there are no strong pieces, and the pawn fight can last a long time.

There is also classic bulldog. Two bulldogs are placed on the outside files where a pawn would normally start. The bulldog is same as a pawn, but pieces in its own army can pass right over it.

Or you can invent your own game. Luke_Hands has to agree with it.
