I think it would be interesting if we used the werewolf too.
On Tuesday I'll start a thread for the Semi-final game between HorusTheThird and Arjun316694, so you will have two games going on at the same time.
Is this the setup you have in mind for your side-game? If everything starts behind normal pawns, I think there should be time for development, but once dwarves and zombies are out things could get interesting!

If you first play Arjun it's fine with me, the tournament is crowded and i am also busy enough. I'll watch your game closely!

Not sure if you meant for this to be an extra game or the Semi-final game. Semi-final games cannot be new unplayed games.
The main game in the tournament is bulldog with witch, but if both players request the following can be played instead:
bulldog
bulldog legacy
bulldog with angel
If you'd like to think about playing one of these instead just leave a comment.
As for out-of-tournament games anything can be played of course - just need an opponent. I would like to try the game with werewolf, dwarf, and zombies all on one board, but can't start yet because I'm already in several games.
If no comments, the Semi-final game will start tomorrow for "Bulldog with Witch (HorusTheThird - Arjun)". Look for the thread soon!

I also noticed Huanglz has a great competitive spirit, and is looking to play another game. If anyone would like to play him with "witch" or some other variation with zombies, werewolves, dwarfs, angels, etc., leave a comment at his thread or here.
Out-of-tournament games can include any bulldog-style game (experimental or not), and player scores will be used to decide who is qualified to challenge the (future) champion for the crown.

super-guard: guard+knight+guard(double length).
king=superguard, pawns=the places the superguard can go to
I like that piece, mainly because of its simplicity and ability to totally cover a big area.
In Waterloo there is an elite-guard which attacks up to two squares away in any (straight) direction, but it doesn't have the knight's moves.
But if an elite guard captures a knight, then it becomes a joker. The joker has the the moves you show. (but a piece called joker in other games copies the opponent's last move).
Then there is a piece with a related move: the Chu Shogi Lion. It covers all the squares you show but in two steps within one turn (any direction for each step). Therefore it can capture two pieces in one turn. If it captures a piece and returns to its original square it is called "stationary feeding".
So if we put all these pieces in the class of "guard":
Guard (simple): moves as king.
Elite guard: jumps up to two squares in any direction (straight).
Super guard: jumps up to two squares in any direction plus knight moves (by friedmelon).
Chu Shogi guard: moves as king but twice in one turn so can capture two pieces in one turn.
Obviously the stronger of these pieces are too powerful for an 8x8 board. But the elite guard and super guard can show up in Waterloo (10 x 10 board). And chess on an infinite plane would have plenty of room for these mega-pieces to roam!
