Minor rule change to avoid draw

Why would the chess rules ever want to change to this ?
Well we have this world championship going on and it has just a few more draws than desirable to the taste of many people. And I like changing rules so I thought that this is the right time for it.

Then you should probably mention that in the post, or post it in some kind of tournament forum if that's possible? Because from any outsider just seeing your post, it looks like you're talking about wanting to change the actual chess rules, lol

And who cares what "many people" think? "Many people" are not super-GMs competing for the World Championship.

I hate the rule change as much as being able to tie an American football game now because people want a sporting event to comply with their hyper-scheduled, self created and imposed schedules.
Whatever happened to winning by one opponent having a medical emergency or spontaneous combustion? I may feel bad, but I'll take the full point win.

Then let this be a variant which can be enjoyed as such. I am already playing a testgame.
Those who call this 'stupid', I really hope that they have closely read my OP and did not misinterpret it.

Interesting rule. If there was no check prior to an otherwise draw condition, then it would become a race to see who can check the other first, right? This can then prevent many (but not all?) draws for 50 moves no progress, and 3-fold repetition, right?
However, what about stalemate? If White (for example) has no move to play, but is not in checkmate, then the game is still in stalemate (a draw), right?
The first player who gives check is declared winner if the game is draw according to current FIDE rules.
Example:
Black gives check on move 33. White continues to play and hopes to give mate. On move 87 50 moves rule is effective. Result: Black wins.
