How do you learn the 960 openings?
Most funny reactions to Chess960 from classical chess players

You don't learn 960 openings, you invent them. That's kinda the point, although starting with bishops or queens in the corners creates some unique challenges worth thinking about.
my comment was meant to be a reaction to chess 960 from a dumb classical chess player.
an odd concept called staying on topic.

Hilarious reaction although not exactly to Chess 960:
http://www.chess.com/forum/view/chess960-chess-variants/evil-chess-suggestion
"If a pawn promotes on the a or h file, it assumes god-like powers and can travel through time and space at will. If it promotes on b, c, f, or g, it becomes a queen that has the ability to move like a knight. If it promotes on d or e, it must sacrifice it's firstborn to the evil god Moloch before it can move. Knights must make a complete knight tour of the board before they can resume normal play. Kings can only move one square, but on Tuesdays and Thursdays they can move two squares--but only forward.
For cripe's sake, isn't this game complicated enough without trying to muck around with it and make it totally impossible to learn?"
"what kind of insane mind has been able to do it?"
"Playing chess960 would ruine my chess."
