If you are up for it, I'd be more than happy to let you take over. I don't want to keep you guys waiting if updates are going to be weeks apart. I need my sanity.

I will update it at some point next week. It may take a little as I'm doing a play ring he next few days meaning I have an excessive work load. But I'll be sure to find the time. Saturday at the very latest (I'd hope to do it on Thursday or if lucky earlier).

Current Event: "Obstacles" Each player, absorbing their move that round, may place an obstacle anywhere on the board, obstacles look like a solid black circle, it belongs to nobody's army so it cannot move, it can be taken just like any other piece, but it can block movement! Obstacles will not immediately despawn upon event end, but instead will start receiving a 25% of de-spawning on every update. Their capture does not give you energy points. Ends move #147

I think it's worth clarifying for everyone how the game is going to be organized from now on. It's mainly going to be much of the same except I'll be doing it. I'm now going to say that in a  lot more words. Here are the main pieces of info about (1) the posts (1), (2) the rules (2), (3) small changes (3), (4) the club (4), (5) final thoughts (5)

(1) As you can see the google drive link is now a single link (contains both game files and photos) and I'm adding the stats because it's not practical to update the top comment. Updates will be at least 24 hours apart so everyone can move. I expect to do it at least weekly, I'd hope to average a solid two a week. I'll be playing around with the formatting of the post until I like it. If I make a mistake in any part of the post or board updates please tell me.

(2) I'm not going to just rewrite the rules. I think it's a format everyone's joined and changing it hugely would be unfun. The rules have never been totally static and that's not going to stop, I will probably suggest rule changes like we always have and if they're generally accepted then they'll become the new rules. Other people can suggest changes too. If there's an unclear edge case I reserve the right to make the final call, although your opinions are welcome. The forum for the rules will change (I'm going to make them my blogs so it's easier to modify) and I might change the formatting but nothing more. If I need to do a change for practical reasons (ie I can't get it to work with the program, or it takes too long) I may not ask, as I'll only be doing it if I know there's no other option. If a rule change/clarification is added there will be information in the next update about it, so you still only need to read the updates to stay up to date with the rules.

(3) I'm putting the flag system on pause. It's complicated and I'm the only one with a tool linked to it so it's not like anyone is losing out. I do think it's fun so it may be continued later.

(4) We have a club. It may come in handy for side discussions if they get too long. And I do think it would be cool for it to be a place for fun side activities. But all that is a thought for the future.

(5) I think my goals are the same as Nav's. Keep the game going smoothly and change the rules to promote dynamic play without breaking the fairness of the game. I will do changes that make that possible as long as there's on a general positive consensus on it.
