Placing a 960 challenge: where can I find it?

I' m completely puzzled. The link to 960 Chess from the Play page takes me back to my Online Game and I just cannot find the option to challenge members/friends on a 960 game. Some people say it is under the 'Advanced Option' pull-down or in the 'Games' menu, but where is that? Could someone please just post I direct and simple link to where we could place 960 Challenges?.

BTW, I love this site but making it so difficult to find it is not quite helpful. I've seen several similar comments. Perhaps Chess.com could act and soon.

Many thanks! I can get to 'Start new game' but the 'show more advanced options' does not apppear on the box, screen or menus?

No way, there must be something wrong? dont see the advanced options at all, not even the cancel button

The additional 'funny' thing is thag the link to 960 from the Play page/pull-down menu reverts me back to my 'online game'. I just dont get.... and I AM on the online business!

Donald: you are great! problem sorted. It was quite misleading... at least for me. If you fancy a game, 960 or standard, just send me a challenge or I'll send you one.

Best,

Carlos

Go to play new game. Select the advanced options (this will be a link on the page). There will be a pull down menu for game type, from which you can select Chess 960.

thank you both.. So, lets see how you can play chess without memorising openings!
