Just like new champions rise up in classical chess, new ones will be born in bulldog too. I'll post an update soon to let everyone know who is allowed to challenge Juny (based on previous games played). JunyJunebug - we're coming after you!😠
@evert823 has the top score and is qualified to challenge @JunyJunebug. He can challenge JunyJunebug anytime, but if he completes a current game and then doesn't challenge Juny, then evert823 becomes idle. If this happens, then I am next qualified to challenge JunyJunebug, and I would plan to do so.
If challenging the champion the game must be one of the following:
1) Bulldog - Two bulldogs (or siege towers) are placed on the outside files where a pawn would normally start.
2) Bulldog Legacy - The outside files have only a pawn and no other pieces. One rook of each color is replaced with a guard.
3) Bulldog Chess with Witch - The witch makes adjacent pieces transparent to friendly pieces.
4) Bulldog Chess with Angel - The angel makes adjacent pieces immune from capture.
So you can challenge JunyJunebug in any of these games. But based on the original tournament rules JunyJunebug can ultimatelly choose the game.
You can also challenge him now, or if you're too busy with other games you can wait to finish one game.
