I have a problem with the way chess.com implements chess960 tournaments.All such games should be randomly chosen from the 960 possible start-positions,and every game should be a new random choice.
A thought-experiment:the computer chooses the traditional start-position for a chess960 tournament,then a whole lot of people complain--'hey,this isn't random,you've done it wrong!'.What happens next?Chess.com invents a new chess variant called Chess959.I hope not.
Why oh why can't all games be independent--like they're supposed to be?
