Troll Chess
Create a stupid pointless chess variant everyday and post it to the forum.
Are you thinking of anyone in particular?
Love this idea.
Horse-blood chess. Any friendly piece or pawn on a square attacked by a knight or a "horse-blooded" piece or pawn is "horse-blooded" as long as either of those conditions are met and may move like a knight as long as it is not otherwisr illegal (moving into check, for instance).
Wyvern Chess:
Pawns same, back row could be with new pieces:
Rogue - Moves any number of squares on an open diagonal (like a Bishop) but then must end one square ajacent (not diagonal to it) to that square. Put them where the Bishops start.
Warlock - Moves along open ranks, files, or diagonals (like a Queen) but must end on the same color as he started. Put them where the Rooks start.
Barbarians - Moves 1 or 2 squares along a rank or file, (like a Rook that can only move 1 or 2 squares). Put them where the Knights start.
Wyvern - Can make a single move like a Warlock or a single move like a Rogue. Place where the Queens start.
Wyvern King - Same rules of check and checkmate apply, but the Wyvern King must move 2 squares in any directions, but ending not ajacent to where he started (because that would just really be moving 1 square and he must move 2). Wyvern King may castle with the Warlock the same as standard chess.
Introduce the squirrel move onto the chess board. This consists of you taking your bishop when you feel you have been wronged and throwing it at the board in the manner of a spazzing squirrel and whinnying like a horse. Any pieces knocked over are permanently removed from the game.
*bows*
Pieces can move as if nothing else was in their way. Every time they move, they remove all pieces in the way of the move, and the piece on the square moved to if any. You can take pieces of your own colors... ![]()
Example:
In this position, White can take all the pieces (including the white knight) on the e-file in one move.
It's not like anyone will follow it anyway...
I would come up with something more serious, if it weren't for the fact that no one else has made very serious variants. (Except Wyvern chess)
