I think it forces you to learn to evaluate a position from move 1. In that regard it is good. I wonder how many here that don't support 960 support bughouse! ;-)

I'll say.. next TonyH will be telling me I have an inferiority complex because I hate en passants.
I think it's a nice change of pace.
I doubt that chess 960 improves your regular chess all that much ....but it is loads of fun. Definitely makes me think.
