I'm a paying member for many years now and one of the reason was, was that there wouldn't be any adverts. So why, when I watch chessTV is there adverts before everything I watch?

If you follow a link to Twitch, there will be ads. Twitch is a separate company not owned by chess.com.

If you follow links to ChessTV, no ads. https://www.chess.com/tv
