How do I host a club successfully?

Hello, everyone. I recently started a club on this site, and I was wondering how I could successfully run it. Does anyone have some tips?

Is challenging multiple clubs a good idea?

Sorry, but bump.

I meant more for advice on how to make a club gain a lot of members and have a lot of matches.

That would work if I was planning on doing a chatting club, but I was hoping for a more competitive club.

You could also try chatting in forums and getting to know people. This leads to friend invites and games between friends.

Perhaps the club could have some other theme or shared interest that drives people to the club.

Join active clubs of your own! You'll get to know many great people who'll be glad to help you out! It also opens opportunities for clubs that want to play against your club. Not to mention that you'll get a member's eye view of the club, giving you unrivalled insight into what works for a club and what doesn't.

A bit late, but thanks F1, will do.

Also, Atti, I don think monarchism is a popular idea on Chess.com.
