How many clubs is too many clubs?

I've seen some profiles with dozens, and some with a carefully selected few.

I joined a bunch and then found a lot of them are inactive so I left a bunch.

Is there any point being in multiple clubs that play against each other?

What is a good number?

Is there such a thing as too many clubs?

Is it alright to collect club memberships?

Should you be selective with your club memberships?

The title makes sense to me  It means How many clubs should you join? Also I can't edit the title.

I think a person can be in too many clubs, as it will, at times, prevent you from going in tournaments, as you will be a member of that club that makes the challenge. This is only a suggestion.
