Says 'Reconnecting' even though Internet is fine... lost game

It's kinda funny that I get notified every time there is a new post in this thread. To all the others in the same boat, I will say that I have fixed my problem. I now only play when connected to my phone's hotspot and no longer with my home internet (dsl). I have never been disconnected while using my phone hotspot. It seems 6 Mbps download and .2 Mbps upload is not fast enough to play games online.

All traffic takes different routes to any particular site. It's very possible for issues to happen on one connection that doesn't happen on another, regardless of the speed.

Some can be caused by local network related issues, such as shared traffic or router related problems. Some by any connection along the path.

If I refresh, I automatically lose with abandoned game.

sometimes that doesn't happen. I refresh and my timer lost a couple seconds but that is all I've experienced

Yeah this just happened to me again in a clearly won position and 45 seconds left against my opponents seconds left? I'm wondering is there some hack someone is using to pull this trick or is chess.com just so over used it's servers are not up to the job?

This has been happening sooo frequently recently. I lose so many winning games because I lose the time in reconnecting.
