In my personal opinion, errors are mostly wrong calculation. Players in 1600 can find the strongest move in most cases, but miss some possible response (because of not enough calculation) from their opponent. Sometimes it makes blunders in tactical situation that lead to lose.
1700 simply calculates deeper than 1600.
I started playing in November 2023 and chess has became my obsession, I've gained elo relatively quickly getting to 1600 elo in just 1 year and 6 months of play, but the jump from 1600 to 1700 seems like there's a skill increase that I haven't experienced in any other level, what are the common errors people at 1600 make?
because when I review games I'm still around the 75% to 75% accuracy.. it just seems the players are seriously stronger in the bracket
