1800 blitz!!

Wow that's soooo impressive. Comp easy is no match for you!!!!
Thank you! You're absolutely right!

Congratulations Mr. Macer75! That must have been a very long and tiring journey :-O
Have you already done arrangments for your retire?
How is going to be your life post-chess.com?
It´s so sad to see you retiring from chess.com, but that´s life, isn´t it? :-)
Good luck in your future challenges (first troll on space?, first chess.com member to climb the himalayas and meet Yeti?, save the pandas?)

This is no achievement anymore.
Nowadays, you can start at blitz rating of 1800 when you sign up. Then, just beat computer-easy a few times and you'll get 1800+. I wish I knew that you could be 1800 in all your ratings right from the start...

Top opponent: Computer1-EASY 188 games.
This is fine of course, but if a person is interested in an accurate rating they need to play often, and a variety of opponents (very few rematches).

This is no achievement anymore.

Yes, I knew someone would bring that up in this thread sooner or later. It reminds me...
On V3, you can see the percentile score of your ratings for each time control. Right now my blitz percentile is:
Tomorrow I'm going to increase my rating by 2 (by winning 2 games), and see if my percentile score jumps by a lot because of all of the people who joined with an 1800 rating. My guess is that people who haven't played any games aren't included in the global stats, but we'll see.

Well, I have no intention of retiring now or anytime soon, but that day will have to come sooner or later, whether it be 2, 10 or 80 years in the future. I try not to think about it now though, because I just can't imagine a life without chess.com. It just seems like I would be someone else.

Congratulations on reaching this milestone. Were any computers involved in reaching it?
Well yes, of course. This is a rating achievement on chess.com, after all, so I played all of my games on a computer.
I DID IT!!!!! Almost 5 years after joining this site, I've finally managed to reach the exalted height of 1800 in blitz!
What makes this accomplishment all the more impressive is how I did it. I'm currently on a 39-game winning streak and 93-game undefeated streak (92W 1D) in all games, and a 51-game winning streak in blitz. And that is after I achieved winning streaks of 179 and 105 within a span of less than 4 months at the end of last year! Needless to say, I'm feeling pretty much invincible right now. I simply don't know how to stop winning!
