and for the record, this is normal.
alot of players that play this kind of game will rapidly send off moves until they get to a tricky place and then they will think.
BUT the point remains that for a 48 hour game you must Come back to chess.com At least every single day until the game is done (and this can be months)....
I am new here. I have a question about playing live games with others. I got myself into a game that says "48 hours." My opponent and I exchanged 9 or 10 moves and then, all of a sudden, he simply stopped moving. I did make a move that put him in a bit of a bind. I suspect that's why he abandoned the game.
First off, what does a "48 hour" game mean? I assume it means that we have 48 hours to complete the game. What happens if one player just abandons the game? Does the player that made the last move win at the end of 48 hours?
