In fact, when I look at the time line.....you created your joke request thread to be a moderator on the 1st day that you opened your account. 2 days later, you created a thread saying cheating is OK on chess.com---post 17. I can see why Shaun would of sent you a note.

Mods can't make other people mods; only staff can do that.
However, while I haven't tested it, I do have a mute button on my own page, so I can probably mute myself...
