A Thread for RJC and others :)

      Chess.com is currently training a new class of mods. They will be graduating just before Christmas.                                                                                                                       

      As you know, I collect empty cans for redemption. I took all my empty  Heineken cans and, presto, voila....I made this car.  I will give it to any mod or Staff person who contributes to this thread. Tell US, what makes you laugh                                                                                                                          

        I'm thinking mods are like normal people with everyday dreams, wishes, aspirations, of someday looking forward to finally obtaining their dream job after many years of hard work. Like, how a bride looks forward to her wedding day.  But, au contraire my friend you may say. LIFE is harsh So when you come home on that glorious day, and run to your computer to open you E-mail. To FINALLY get that answer from Erik and Chess.com saying CONGRATULATIONS!  you've been accepted to the team. Your smiling from ear to ear. You envision all your problems going away forever, like THIS;                                                                                                         

      Ah yes,  the day you became a mod for Chess.com  It was the happiest day of your life.  2 loving people like bride & groom                                                 And on your 1st day at work, 15 million people start treating you like this                                                                                                                                  

     Then you can check in to the Chess.com Hospital and rehab unit.                                           

                                                                                          This is Candy Cane with an important announcement from Chess.com.  While the creation of this thread has provided a boom in the applications to be a mod, a couple of rumors have to be addressed. 1st, when V3 comes on-line officially, all mods will have THIS avatar.                                                2nd, while the benefits of being a mod are plentiful and varied, there is no truth to the rumor that Erik will buy you a car and a gun.
