About going over a game with opponent....

So far (for me in online chess) no one has been interested in going over a game with me after it is over. Is this a general trend? (I have learned a lot more from discussing ideas with opponents than all computer analysis combined.)

.

Also, is there a natural and easy way to do this, should someone in the future agree??

Thanks, Bill

This is absolutely a general trend for online chess. Usually after a game, people analyze it themselves (with the engine) or they start a new game. I think someone would only analyze with you if you prearranged a match with them. You can plan to discuss the game with them afterwards.

Many players feel defensive after a loss or don't want to reveal their thinking.
