Well if there is chess in the after life. Boy o boy!. The chess greats are probably playing the strongest chess tourney there. Or matches. Fischer vs Capablanca, Alekhine vs Petrosian, Botvinnik vs Steinitz, Morphy vs Tal!
Yeah, so another novel topic speaking of all that: who would win in a theoretical match between Fischer vs. Kasparov?
Steinitz once claimed he could beat God after giving God pawn odds. Probably getting wiped off the board lol

Well I'm not sure of this eventuality but if you do get to Heaven and God wants to play a game of Chess make sure that you let him win. 
Then there was Fischer, who thought he could draw with God (as white) if he played 6) Bc4 in the Najdorf (Fischer assumed God would play the Sicilian Defense.)
Ah Blacula was quite touching, I thought. I'm talking about the opposite end of the 1970's though. Hint: It involves the perenially-chestnut-tan actor so sun-baked that you'd never think of him as a vampire.
