Any tips while visiting Iceland

I'm going to Iceland with my wife and daughter (just turning 11 years old) in April. They're not into chess, but will indulge me in visiting some of the chess sites. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Well there are plenty of things to do there for your wife and daughter, how long you will spend there ? This is the perfect time to see the northern lights, there is a boat trip from Reykjavik to see the northern lights. If I remember I think I booked the trip from Iceland airport. Hope that will help you. Iceland is amazing!
