these were actually continued by telltale games from lucas arts in 2006

Lucas Arts...

I remember playing this one a lot as a kid.

Haven't looked it up since then. It's really neat to live in a time where this is possible. I remember something from when I was little, and I can instantly pull it up on youtube most of the time.

After eating that burger, you'll feel like someone waxed your intestines...that is, if you don't have a heart attack first.

I'm a meat eater because I think I don't need to eat vegetables to live a happy and healthy life. It was hard at first but I after some initial difficulties I was able to slowly reduce the amount of vegetables I ate to zero. I feel great now!

Please also tell us how this saves the trees from other herbivores and omnivores like us.  Feeding bred chicken corn also saves the worms that help loosen the soil for tree roots to extract nutrients.

If overpopulation is a problem, maybe we should take it a step further and have not only an all meat diet, but an all cannibal diet!

Now we're making progress.  More people will now invite their mom in law for dinner.   Can't get closer social bonding than that.

Adds a whole new meaning to: "my mother in law makes the most delicious lunch"

It might be slightly less gauche to ask what sort of revenue the website generates. I would imagine this information could be found online some place.

Also, as I understand it, the revenue a website generates is primarily generated from advertisments, not memberships. Although with even 1 million paying members (just using a round number, I haven't a clue how many paying members cc has) the monthly figure is large.

I was doing a Google search to double check what year Chess.com was founded in.  I came across a link for this forum post by sheer accident.

I've never heard of the word "gauche" before.  Quite interesting to see the definition after I looked it up.  It is quite true that you can learn something new every day! happy.png  You must have quite an extensive vocabulary @batgirl!

I agree with you @batgirl.  They (@Erik and @Jay) have worked hard to get Chess.com to fruition and they deserve the perks that come following their success.

It's nice to be financially stable in life, but money is not everything.  It does not always bring "true happiness".  I believe you have to find that within oneself and that strictly materialistic objects simply give a "false sense" of happiness.  It (buying materialistic things) could be considered a form of self soothing, when one is unhappy.  It may not always always be the case, but it can sometimes.

Mostly just 2 things: risk and circumstance.

Sure there's work involved, but the important work is done by people with actual skills, the people who are hired.

Fairness is a weird one to throw in.

Yes, and who are they hired by? People who invest their own money and take a big risk.
