What chess youtuber gives the best chess tips on how to improve?

I wouldn't look at Youtube honestly. It's more educational to practice and to play then to watch entertainment video's

In general, rapid is more educational as it is more about thinking then intuition. So, if you want to become good at chess, then rapid is the way to go.

I agree but for so many players on here, rapid means 10|0. If you look at an old profile and go back to 2016 you will see that 10|0 on this site was still classified as blitz, and in reality it is.

I have watched streamers playing 10|0 and struggling with not running out of time, and when one of them started playing faster they also started playing a lot worse and were losing loads of games.

Unfortunately too those streamers are locked into playing on this site, and the one who is rated around 1900s told me she didn't get paired if she tried 15|10, nor 10|5 because it's hidden away. And of course there is no lobby.

There is also an issue of the slower time controls being used by cheats, although that could also be overcome if they were allowed to filter to only play older accounts, not that older accounts never cheat, but it's less likely as they'd probably already have been caught, or would only just have started cheating recently.

You could look at my last 2 recent 15|10 games. At 1902 I was still able to get paired. It got into a an ending with just queen rook and pawn and I often struggle in those. I went to grab a pawn and got checkmated, knowing that might be happening but also wondering if I was losing anyway. Actually no I had chances of drawing.

In the other game, I saw the complicated middle-game tactic but not at the exact moment. In the end my primary blunder intuitively looked like a good move. My opponent's powerful knight go into a strong square which was my main downfall. That is something that often happens to me, as well as one of my pawns getting targeted, and as black that was sitting on d6 more often than not, so I have started trying to push d5 whenever I can.

Still, I need some good tactics as to how to handle these middle-games and certain end-games I am bad at.

Growing up, middle-game was my strongest point, openings my weakest. I am not sure if that is still the case now.

Why did you closed your account because of a losing streak ı used to make this mistake too but it is not a big deal right now you are learning from them. Especially very strong players always plays at their right mood when they feel hyped at it chess is a mind and exhausting game and you should start to grind your rating when you feel yourself at the right moment with a calm mind. Night grinds always goes wrong you must definately know when to stop playing chess every time. İf you see this in my opinion you should definately open your account.

Hello failingapbio,

It is normal for everyone. When you gain rating, you'll get stronger opponents and with that it's more likely to happen. Keep going and having fun, you'll bounce back.

Hello SimonTravis, I appreciate the long message. But I'm not sure what you are asking.
