Automatically Signed in to Chat

I strongly dislike the way this was implemented.

Every time I log in to the site, it automatically logs me into the chat and I have to sign myself out. I don't want to have to do that. It should leave me signed out.

Bad implementation.

I also, I don't seem to be able to track topics I start.

That's annoying.

And if you don't want to use the chat, go to Account and permanently remove the chat bar.

Yeah, I figured out I could go to my content. I had never started a thread before.

Still, it's not in the same place as my other tracked topics.

On the chat thing, give me specific instructions as to how to do that, please. Step-by-step, such that a five year-old could complete the task. I don't see the option anywhere.

Ahh...here you go.

1) Go to Account.

2) Click on Privacy.

3) Scroll down till you see 'Chat Bar'.

4) Change its settings to what you want - I think it will be 'Never Show' for you.

5) Then, scroll down and click save changes.

Then it should be finished!

Actually, I just logged back in and it popped up on me again. Signed my right in to chat on its own.
