I think it could be bigger, so then people will actualy know what it is instead of trying to make out shapes or faces

It is a little small, but they'd have to change the forums to make them fit. Not to mention loadtimes. Shouldn't be too big of a burden, though, imo.

personaly i think they should make the cosom logo area bigger. i can not for the life of me find a picture to fit in that spot
I think it should stay the same. If you want a bigger view just go to the person's profile.
Maybe it should just be bigger on your profile.

an idea came to me it shud be like facebook
basically you get a pretty bg image on your profile but on the cooment and reply places u chose a certain part of the pic to show and that might just be ur face or somethin

Wouldn't this make almost every avatar a different size? I say just stick with the 100x100 for convenience purposes.

I think the stock avatar templates should remain the size that they are on all the pages. What would be cool is if they GET LARGER when you HOVER the cursor over them. This would keep all the page layouts the same and allow a quick view of the larger avatar image. It can't be too hard to do, ebay has had that feature for years.
Should chess.com make the avatar space bigger, I mean the 100 by 100 avatar space sucks in my opinion it doesn' really let you express your avatar. What do you think?
