I think I've blocked 3 people. I don't know how many times I've been blocked. But some people are very sweet to me, while others talk about building a time machine so they could go back and kill my parents. Hmmm... time machines...

2 blocked, member since December 2008. I have given out many block "warnings" however.
More than 100 people blocked on my YouTube account however. I block people without warning on YouTube because I am tired of getting spammed/advertised/scammed/hatemailed.

And how do some of you know who you've been blocked by?
There's no notification, often just an abrupt realization that you can no longer post in threads that they've started (something that in my opinion should be removed from the restrictions applied when a block is in place).

What if they've started no threads you ask? In that case, go to their page and see if you can leave a note.

I've had good results. I just tell tell them something such as, "Fair warning. If you don't stop doing (insert behavior) I will block you." 100% success, but small sample size since I've only tried it a few times.

I wonder how many people on the site are upside-down - those members whose block list is bigger than their friend list.
A friend deficit? What a shame.
Apparently woodshover blocked me, which is slightly bizarre and inexplicable. But then so is woodshover.
Same here. Honestly, the only time I ever recall talking to him, or mentioning one of his posts, I was agreeing with him.
