Guess my idea was trash
Bot Idea I just had: Botez Gambit Master

Thanks! Though I think more people would have to see this in order for the idea to come to fruition. Either that or some Chess.com higher-up who thought it was an interesting enough idea for them to direct resources towards, which, looking back now, seems unlikely. I'm not sure if a community-originated bot was ever even something that happened

Been watching GM Hikaru's new series where he gives away the queen right at the start against lower rated players and wins effortlessly anyways and I had a thought.
"Man, I do wonder how I'd fair against Hikaru with those odds. Shame it's so difficult to get on a match with him. Wait... What if they made a bot for that?"
Basically, the bot would be hardwired to force you to take its queen around the first 5 moves max, regardless of the opening. Then after that, all of its play would be pretty much the best engine moves all throughout.
I think this could be fun or at least interesting both for beginners and experts alike, since it provides not only an appealing challenge for less experienced players and an unusual test in accuracy for more adept players
Why not play a game of odds instead?

Alex Botez is a nice person, and you're insulting her by saying "Botez Gambit".
Maybe at one point or another they regret their life choices for having coined that expression, but you can easily see from what the Botez sisters post on their socials that they're at least ok with the term being used freely by this point
