I think legally they can't put the bots back because of copyright. Potentially they could, but that would probably require a contract with Netflix, and I doubt Chess.com has that kind of money at the moment. Kinda blows, too, I'd love to play against these bots even though I have zero clue who Beth Harmon is.

Ironically, an actress who bears no resemblance to Beth Harmon other than being caucasian. Maybe if chess.com changed the bots to look like someone's podgy grandma they could legally use them again... It would be worth it to have a bot to play against that rocks QG.
