Thanks. Yes games are fine in app. 

For what its worth, this is not my experience - if I try to go to such a game in the app it just quits immediately and I go back to the home screen on the phone.

I haven't seen an indication from staff yet the underlying problem is fixed. Can moves be made in the other games?

Martin - it looks that way to me - games that had been impacted are now being played normally. The right board position is displayed.  I can of course only speak for my own games but have exchanged moves ie both players have played a move today in at least one thematic event.

Most of my affected games are ok now, but there is still one that still isn’t right, as of 2 minutes ago at least.

I know, just thought, I should answer on @Martin_Stahl's question. He should know all this since eight days, ... but perhaps it helps, repeating in repeated questions.

I agree, Bernd. The fact that c.c knew about this bug and have made it so them games time out is poor sportsmanship especially since George pays £80 a year for membership

@blackfirestorm: In my eyes the most annoying thing isn't the bug itself, it's the lack of interest on Chess.com's side: A bit after this forum I've created another one with a detailed description: https://www.chess.com/forum/view/site-feedback/frozen-daily-games-timing-out-without-any-chance-to-make-a-move and several screenshots, including the same link as re-posted today. One of the most helpful staff member, who I've met in years here, asked me to create in addition a bug report, which I did. Nothing of all these activities has been followed by any concrete action.

I'm looking forward seeing Chess.com's inactivity melting my vacation time.

Yes, he wrote out the bug report a 7 days ago for this bug and in 7 days all he's had is their automated response saying thanks for reaching out but nothing since except the constant emails about how his vacation has finished and that he's timed out.

Come on staff this is very unfair. You need to reinstate all the timed out games since they timed out due to YOUR BUG

At this stage, with no fix and no sign of action, I basically have no confidence this is going to be fixed.  Maybe if it was affecting Hikaru or Magnus it would get action but not for those who are actually paying to use the site.  Its just going to eat up my remaining vacation time (nearly 2 months) and then the games will be over.  What a crock.
