What? That wasn’t even the point, obliviously they play fast, I just wished that people would make more logical moves, and I’m not saying it’s everyone either.

Btw, I’m not that great at Bullet myself, so just chill

Why? If they are making "illogical" moves shouldn't it be easy to punish them? If you can't easily punish the move then it is not illogical, it is pretty simple. In my bullet games I hope my opponents play weird, non positional and aggressive instead of ultra safe and boring. The worst outcome is letting your opponent build a bunker with no entry point and then you just mindlessly shuffle pieces until the chess.com server clock determines a winner.

Play faster

ShyGuy1511
Ok, thanks for the responses everyone
Sobrukai

playing for the clock is very valid in bullet

@Sobrukai
It just depends on the situation

I think bullet chess is almost like a different game. Its shares some similarities but requires different skills than a rapid game (less calculation and more intuition). It doesn't ruin the game. It just is some peoples preferences.

nuhuh hard when 1 min on clock a unpunished dumb move is still a dumb move your opponent just made an equally dumb move

If you really want to play bullet, at your level play 2+1 or at least 1+1 so you have more time to punish your opponent's "illogical" moves

I mean, is it really a dumb move if it makes you think forever? If you can't punish it immediately I think it is a good move, even if stockfish gives it a +- 5.

technically its still a bad move its just a move you should play to confuse your opponent so you can win

Sorry I made some over stepping comments without putting enough thought in it I’ve been known to do that, you’re advice has been mostly helpful. -GN

If people make illogical moves, that's good for you, not bad. Illogical moves are almost always mistakes.

The best advice is "don't play bullet". It makes no sense to play random moves against another guy who does the same, and it's not fun either.

Honchkrowabcd

Bullet chess under 1000 rating is just entirely random. Pieces will be hanging left and right and the winner is only decided by whoever decides to munch on the most pieces

V_Awful_Chess

Here's something I tried with 1|0.

Play that time control against Martin.

That's why I don't play 1|0.

fr even at my 1500 level bullet people still hang lots of pieces
