nah

I did 2 of them and they were both not helpful,

and the dumb 1 lesson a week is stupid, just a way for them to grab money.

Well I've done much more than two of them and they most certainly were helpful. Most all of their opening lessons are quite good as are a lot of the strategy ones. How well you're able to integrate said lessons into your games is not part of the chess.com lessons.

but why would I pay to do more than one lesson a week when I can go somewhere called youtube.com

im sure youtube.com is just as interactive as the lessons here. (short answer: it's not)

1. I can find other free websites for that.  2. Why do I need chess skills anyway, it's just a game.

That’s your perspective. Shrug

I do believe if people are willing to put in the time and effort they can significantly improve their chess thru a premium membership.

Hope you get banned. You are trying to steal from multiple people at the same time. Fraud is a serious crime too.

Infinite puzzles! The world would be mine!!!! Bwuahahahahaha

YES!! membership will enable you to become a greater player if you apply yourself diligently to your analysis which in return will give birth to greater games played. My own experience since becoming a gold member has proven me well. I highly recommend any membership for "all" enthusiastic players seeking to become better than before. You apply yourself and your results will be well worth it. Join now, don't delay, membership is here to stay ♟️🗒️✍🏾

JBabkes

Well said 64crazy!

FoxWithNekoEars

to be better in chess you just need work for it for some time and have some sources of chess stuff ... it could be membership here, it could be a book about strategy or theory, it could be a puzzle collection or it could be even only pure analyze with any engine...
some of it take more time some of it take more money but everything somehow works... i prefer things what take your time instead of money but thats just my opinion...

It's harder to understand sarcasm over the internet when you can't see body language or hear the tone of voice in the way the message was put across.

yeah TOTALLY true mhm you cant express sarcasm in the internet huh?

DefenderPug2

It’s not like phraseology and wording exists, but I guess we’ll never know how to express ourselves 🤷‍♂️.

DefenderPug2

As someone who bought it, no.

you may not be making the best use of your diamond membership.

@ntzt has done much more than you have.

I used to have diamond membership for about a year.

The lessons are good for those below 1200. But they are basically “lol, here is fork. Can you see knight fork in this puzzle.” Just weak videos that are almost patronizing in how easy they are and how many hints they give. The lessons are only moderately better than Chessvibes/Gotham, and I won’t repeat my opinions of them.

Overall, I’ve found books and other sites better. As far as instructional vids, GingerGM and Hanging Pawns are worth my time. Books are more expensive than a membership, but at least I feel I’m getting something for my money.

Your arrogance and delusions are going to keep you from improving.

Wow, so edgy. The chess.com shill had to jump on my case.

1. I explained the pros and cons of a variety of resources. That’s not blind arrogance, it’s an evaluation of the learning tools given.

2. I’m not ranked much differently than you, but yeah, act all superior. Like anyone but you really cares.

3. even you don’t try to defend the learning resources this site provides, giving more evidence that they’re bunk.

maybe its worth it but do what you think is best buddy ❤️
