The opening post is complete nonsense. 2000-something sounds like the number of grandmasters. The number of masters is probably 10 or 20 times more.
There are two-thousand and eighty-seven masters in the world. No one can easily name every single chess master in the world because there just too many in the world. But maybe if you want to try it, maybe you can get a notebook and pen and noting down every single chess master. That's the only way. But maybe some cool soul may easily name every single chess master. Who knows?
