batgirl, I'd like to share my special boiled cabbage recipe with you:
dice some cabbage and steam-boil it in a pot with minimum water.
when the cabbage is almost at a desired texture, spill almost all the water out so that there's literally just a few millimeters of fluid at the bottom, and then add a good dose of salted butter or margarine, and continue to let the cabbage boil-fry while stirring from time to time.
season with black pepper and coriander seeds a minute before the dish is done.

--- Well I had to look up the Seychelles on YouTube and it looks nice and warm there but a bit too far to travel for my winter holiday. One place that looks interesting is Belize, formerly known as British Honduras. It is nice and warm there and the people speak English, quite perfect ( now I just need to win the Lottery lol ).
