Changes in playing bots

I really dislike the recent changes to the app. I like to play bots with different assistance settings so I can gradually increase the difficulty and my independence. I really don't like that I can't set it to allow or not allow take-backs or hints. That's the main way that I've been learning and playing all the different bots is why I paid for the premium subscription. I don't understand why they made the change. what problem are they trying to solve? Anyone else like it better before?

The site is going to add customizable assistance options back to the personality bots soon. However, there won't be levels; if you use any assistance options, the max crown level will be one
