Cheating by using bots

Is playing chess while doing something else on your phone e.g. texting an indicator of cheating? If a player continually leaves the app to do something else? Two people have accused me of cheating because of this and I don’t understand
How would the other user know your leaving the app????
Also no It's not cheating if you are not getting any assistance from other sources except your brain

The level and frequency of cheating is unreal. Each time you leave the screen the abandonment clock appears. Perhaps you received a call? Each time the player returns with amazing moves. 90% of the players recently have cheated and/or used a ai bot.
