as someone who loves chess and who has been enjoying it since I've been 7... I really loved to see that the chess world is growing and the game itself has become always more and more popular it is making me sad to see that the chess clubs themselves struggle to find members.instead of going to chess they go in to Play soccer or Others Sports. fact is If you want to improve the only way to become better is to study with a better Player...and therefore the best way ist to Go to a chess Club. what could we do to increase the Numbers of active chess Players in the Clubs??

They used to be one of the only places to find a decent game. Now, they have to compete with the availability of 24/7 online play. They don't stand much of a chance.

Few of the clubs here on chess.com are actually interested in chess. The last club I was in spent more time talking about "woke," President Biden, religion and other things than chess. One night they started joking about the "n-word." That's when I left. No more clubs for me
