Must be a real pain not being able chat during the game? It's really hard to focus on the board without the chat option. Sounds like a major crisis.

I mean when requesting.someone a chat it does.not work like before and now today when I log on there all live chess features have changed.a lot I don't know why but that would.be.a.big blow.for chess.com.

You're probably in Live (Beta). Go to Live Chess instead and see if the same thing happens.
