There would be no reason for [removed — MS] ads if chesscom had a viable product in the first place. The site breaks and constantly advertises subpar eval with horrendous AI vibecoded backend. Why would anyone pay for this garbage?
PSA closing the app and reopening is faster than enduring the ads, but deleting and changing to a free service like Lichess with the better site functionality will still save me more time in the long run anyway.
