The funny thing is, some people are so worried about the Russians and Chinese collecting our data (a real concern, btw), but they don't seem to be bothered by Google's and Facebook's data collection.

Again, install uBlock Origin, Adblocker Plus, and NoScript, and many of your problems will go away. (And stay away from social media.)

yes, when I would run those, and any combo of those, I can log in to chess.com , but the system shuts me out of playing any live games. They've got all this stuff covered. BTW, the "let me check your browser" happens after I login, from inside this site. All spyware.
When I remove those anti add programs, system lets me play again, because I'm "in line" with how things work around here. Play = get spied and tracked. Cancel ads = can't play.
I doubt that tbh
install those 3 programs in your chrome browser, (uBlock Origin, Adblocker Plus, and NoScript,) and see what happens when you log in to chess.com You think I'm makin this stuff up?
