if this continues I'm leaving, forever
Chess.com sucks
Except they're not valuing profit above everything else - watch any of the videos in https://www.chess.com/forum/view/general-chess-discussion/erik-allebest-interview-on-scaling-to-100m-revenue-150m-members-and-700-people-99989457 from earlier this year and you'll see what really motivates them.
when i joined in 2019 you used to be able to do 5 puzzles a day. Now it's down to what, three? With no membership.
For game analysis you could do the free analysis at depth 10 in 2019 and it'll still work pretty well but now I don't think that exists anymore.
Getting paid fairly for the services you provide is perfectly reasonable. Are they charging up to what the market will bear? I think they're charging considerably less.
Seriously even if you buy membership you still get a bad playing experience worse if you play a cheater it is just best to abort the game because chess.com never refunds you for losing against a cheater nowadays
meh its only 8 points chill dude your ELO go back up it doesn't even help In the long run to get a rating refund(unless your like 3000 or smth to get higher places in rankings)

No they don't.
There is a free lesson every week, 5 puzzles every day, and even a free game review (but i don't recommend for anyone to use game review ever).
I have to agree with chess.com having problems, most of the elo players at 4,5 and 6 hundred elo have way to many tactics to be that low of an elo. I also seem to have to play a lot of newer accounts and they are usually higher elo's starting over or just wanting to beat up on the lower elo's

Only two people responded to this chat that didnt have an elo close to 2000, no kidding it is easier for ya'll. No comments from anyone under a 1000 elo. Two people with a rating a bit over 1000, no worries people it is what it is. No fun at all. I dont mind losing but getting slaughtered because they have the tactics and i dont? I will never get there even after evaluating my own games over and over. An amateur boxer will never learn how to fight if he gets pummeled by pros all the time, that is a fact.
Bro losing is a part of the whole game, and losing muktiple will be a normal occurance, even if you play good. I see that you play rapid, and rapid is all about thinking slowly, not play in one second. I know it's hard to just lose like 10 games and win 2 games, but sometimes, you have to deal with it and improve better, or maybe take a break.

The issue is whenever you win like 2 games you get up against tons of sweaty people with way lower ELOS than they should have... like I went from 190 to 120 in the span of 1 day to a bunch of sweats

Rapid certainly does. They can't fix what's wrong. They can't stop what ruins it. They attempt midigation and at best they slow it down in single digit percentages. I honestly will never understand the minds of those who live to sabotage. Out of all my losses; I've never been inspired to stoop so low.

i have played 6 games. 2 of them ended due to connection issues while i have great internet connection. 2 of them the opponent decided to punish me by leaving and making me wait for their clock to run out. one of those was after they played d4 and immediately offered a draw, they were lower rated so i didnt want a draw. they then immediately started a new game with someone else. i guess they didnt like nf6. the other guy had 17 minutes on his clock in a 15 10 rapid game and i sat there untill his clock hit 2 minutes and the game aborted for some reason. i was one move from promoting to a second queen and all he had was a rook that couldnt even take it after promotion so he just quit playing. i really dont see the point in trying here
