that's very clever. although i don't get the last two. would someone mind explaining them to me? suggo's account has been closed and i don't see the correlation between ilikeflags and the joker.

As for suggo, he'd be hard to explain. Now if you were to tell me that knowing when to resign is a sign of politeness and increasing chess knowledge I could take the suggo perspective and try to make you think you were a crass nazi.

Oh yeah, he would maintain no matter what the social conventions, that whatever the rules allowed, one could do, impervious to all calls for common sense. Indeed, such people who asked for "politeness" were in fact the impolite ones, as they were pressuring someone to change.

Suggo is so lawful evil it's not even funny. You don't see ilikeflags and the joker? >.>

Well, there you have it: Tiny Tim approves.

ModernCalvin

Great job.

Although I can't really picture ozzie as the penguin. Maybe someone can help me with this?

The rest, I think, are spot on, except for goldendog.

Does the wikipedia link have a picture of ozzie there?

In all honesty I think Goldendog is neutral good, like most of the good posters here, but you can't use that for everyone.

The link in post #28 is broken.

It should point here. If that doesn't work, try this: http://tinyurl.com/55nfj3

Yes, unfortunately the URL tool here stumbles over brackets.  I tried to fix it but couldn't -- didn't think of using a redirect site.  Thanks Ozzie.

Wow, you just applied Dungeons and Dragons terminology to posters on a chess forum.

Its like a nerd hurricane passed through here. Tongue out

I didn't get that at all. What does "true neutral" mean then? Is it good?

EDIT: click here for more information

ChessMarkstheSpot

Either chaotic good or neutral good is well, good for goldendog. I was just saying that I don't see how the picture you chose for him has any connection to goldendog.

ModernCalvin

Ah I get it now. Thank you Grobe and ozzie. I sure hope you don't look like Danny Devito though =/

ChessMarkstheSpot

I would have to admit he did look quite freaky in that movie, but played a good Penguin I thought

It's not bad. The alignment link there is more of a role playing guide than a concrete definition. I chose you as true neutral because you never seem to take a defined side or role in the forums.

I thought of a nice alternative image for Tonydal:

I will show you the life of the mind!

TheGrobe

"Barton Fink! Barton Fink!"

Haaha, how did they do it so often?
