Lets be honest guys chess isn't a sport. There is no physical activity required and a purely mental game cant be considered a sport. Also even if it was a sport basketball would still be better lol.
Also i dont think a person whose highest elo is 556 should be talking about how great the game is.
Chess is the worst sport you can ever play. Ye sure thing, it's a sport that just look at the damn board and just move some pieces expecting them to do something. It's just a game for relaxation and not too much of being competitive. As a 2000 elo player, I have never seen chess an actual real sport like legit. Not a lot of people in Singapore talk a lot about chess too.
