This is correct. It is too easy - if that’s the way you want to play it. I prefer just a little difficulty, myself…but easy enough to be relaxing.
I’m not looking so much at my rating. But I look forward to destroying my opponents. The best generals make it look easy, natural. I like this sense of ease. Many of Carlsen’s games seem to have this quality. For instance this one, where he very nicely destroyed Ivanchuk.

The Bh3 move made me laugh.. the way he forced Ivanchuk to sac his queen.. the notes in the collection by Soltis (Carlsen’s 60 Memorable Games), emphasizes “he feels what positions are easier to play.. more comfortable.. etc.” [paraphrasing]. There is something ideal about this ease of play.

I wish chess was easy. Actually I don't, what would the fun in chess be?? If chess was easy, it would be as meaningless as checkers!! if everyone could become GM, it would be nothing. The title would be nothing.
The difficulty is what makes chess what it is.
