saw a ad for chess kids 2 accounts $53 plus a free gold membership for the adult. Im having a hard time finishing the transaction. has anyone else had this issue. can someone point me in the right direction

Hmm, you have to already be a premium chess.com member to get that offer.
But if you are just annoyed at waiting, everyone is waiting a week or two for customer service from chess.com. I think that it's the same people who do support for chesskid.
