Before I accept a 960 seek, I'd like to know what the REAL + or - rating points is. Today I started a game that said 0 points for loss then found out it was reall -48.

I'd like to have boards in the forum (where people put up an example to play thru) be keyboard sensitive as with the analysis board in open chess. Clicking the mouse continuously wears the litle fellow out, more importantly, it's not very good for my fingers either. Being able to use the space bar or the < > keys would be less wear and tear on both.

I think it would be good to make some videos viewable to lower membership holder. For example:

- Basic members: no videos (just the preview)

- Gold members: just the beginner-related videos

- Platinum members: beginner + intermediate videos

- Diamond members: unlimited access.

Wouldn't this make the other membership packages more interesting? But still not too much so that a diamond membership still has its appeal?

Retrograde chess problems in the "insert chess puzzle" function where people analyse and figure the previous position a piece was. Puzzles would be much cooler that way

One thing that really bugs me is that you can add any amount of friends on live chess, but when you add in online, it says you can only have 20 pending friend requests. So i have to delete like my 50 requests on the friend thingy lol =(. Can we have like a tick box for each friend request i send out to delete them? cus i have to delete them one by one, and it refreshs the page EVERYTIME.

You can already do that can't you? just insert a position in and then tell people to figure out what the last move was. There are some out there already to be honest, just gotta look back a few pages. There was a nice load of them by Derbusch"something". There was like 50 detective puzzles he posted up =P

What about an iPhone like app for Blackberry users.  The mobile chess feature for the Blackberry Storm is pretty bad.  Thanks.

Can we have the Games Names back please. I use them to track who is playing in various games in our Group, just by looking at their Online Chess page.

I agree ... to say I'm playing a person twice in the same line is ... redundant Surprised

I was about to post that. Games names are very important!

Game Names are back ... WOW! that was fast ... you guys were just testing us, eh?Surprised

OK, if you want to accomplish the same thing (I think) to show who is white and who is black, just add a little W or B behind the opponents name ( a space would be nice ) Wink and did I forget to say THANKS?  Thanks!

It occurs to me that while there is a, "King of the Board," trophy, there isn't a, "Queen of the Board," trophy, and this might be added to accomodate those members who are of the female gender?

what's all this junk at the bottom of the page? Trying to play chess here ... don't need no "camera shots", meebo, etc. jumping up in my face. I can lose my focus quite nicely on my own, thank you!Surprised

Could we have an option to choose the level of computer game analysis please. My rating is only around the 1500 level so since I became a premium member and got computer analysis at ~2500 I can't see half the time why the computer is telling me I blundered, even with the variations that are given.

Also, since my opponent's are about my level, most of the time they don't make the moves that the computer suggests should follow my "blunder".

in my computer archive are many games ... I would have to open each one to see if it is a game that I'd like to review. At the time I finish the game, I'd like to be able to enter a one or two character identifier that would be displayed on the archive page, sortable perhaps. The identifer might be an exclamation point !, a question mark ?, or some other character which means something to me. Then I could more easily review games where I felt I did well, or missed opportunities, etc.

It would be great if at the completion of an online game your rating increase or decrease was shown. Obviously the new rating is already appearing at the bottom of the board with my username, but i'm sure i'm not the only one who can't always remember precisely what their rating was immediately before the game finished. It would be great to see by exactly how much my rating has changed, especially when I beat a much higher rated player! It could be displayed in the same place, and just appear as eg 1645 -> 1655.... i guess it would make sense to display the opponents rating change as well....

Thanks.

You can see this change by looking at your games archive. Each game posted shows your rating, (after the game), beside your screenname.
