Why not just give 90sec but also have a pause button since you might have to take a break. You can make the board blank so he/she wouldn't be thinking. The pause button can have a time on it like 2:00 minutes.

After getting adjourned game from someone who was clearly losing from me. He made the game adjourned. moments later he's playing another game with someone els.

Plss turn back this option or give players the option to request no adjourned games. At least this way i know i get finished games and not adjourned games.

if they disconnect they lose and lose rating points and you gain points i like the ideas posted i say go for it as i have lost many points from disconnection when i m a move from winning a game

why not allow adjourns? i tell you that it will be the first thing people ask for :) i can see it now "i was playing with a friend and he disconnected but it was SUCH a good game - whey can't we finish it??" - we already get this a ton for Turn-based chess ;)
